⚠️ LipidIQ is a clinical decision-support tool intended exclusively for use by licensed healthcare professionals. It is not intended for patient self-management or lay use.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using LipidIQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Intended Use
LipidIQ is designed as a reference and decision-support tool for licensed healthcare professionals. Content is based on the 2026 ACC/AHA/AACVPR/ABC/ACPM/ADA/AGS/APhA/ASPC/NLA/PCNA Guideline on the Management of Dyslipidemia and landmark clinical trial data.
- The App does not constitute medical advice.
- Clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating clinician.
- Always verify recommendations against current literature and institutional protocols.
- The App is not FDA-cleared as a medical device.
3. Disclaimers
- LipidIQ is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by the American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Heart Association (AHA), or any other professional society referenced within the App.
- Guidelines evolve. Content may not reflect the most current published recommendations. Always consult the primary source.
- AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and have not been reviewed by a licensed clinician.
4. Subscription and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription ("LipidIQ AI — Monthly") billed at $2.99/month via the Apple App Store. A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings.
- No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, and design elements within LipidIQ are the property of the developer. Guideline summaries are derived from publicly available ACC/AHA publications; original guideline text remains the property of its respective copyright holders.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the App, including any clinical outcomes resulting from reliance on App content.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
